What you are looking at here is some 2-inch hot oil piping, supply and return lines that are insulated with an inch and one-half thick fiberglass pipe covering, and jacketing with a stucco embossed aluminum. All of the joints and seams are applied in an overlapping position to shed water and for good finished appearance.
Also, here are some flexible, braided, stainless steel hot oil hoses which we have insulated with 1/2 inch thick high temperature, heavy density mat insulation cover with a silicone coated glass.
